COURSE
Head Greenkeeper - Darren Welsh
The course turf is a mixture between parkland and moorland in texture.

Windyhill is an 18-hole course measuring 6154 yards in length with a Par of 71 from the White Tees. Four testing Par 3’s, 3 Par 5’s combined with a series of daunting Par 4’s makes Windyhill a challenging test of golf for golfers of all abilities.

There are a number of holes on the course which could be considered to be the signature hole. Most notibly the choice is from either the 7th, the 9th, the 12th or the 14th.

As golfers, we all appreciate the presentation and condition of the courses on which we play, but do we know much about what goes on in the background to keep our Course’s in tip-top condition?

Here’s a few facts and figures provided by our Greenkeeping Staff about what it takes to keep Windyhill Golf Course, in the condition which we are proud of.
