DRESS CODE
At Windyhill we favour a more relaxed casual atmosphere and to assist in achieving this we operate a relaxed Dress Code Policy at all times except during Official Club Functions and would request you adhere to following: -
- Football colours, rugby tops, shell suits and tracksuits are not permitted and all headgear should be removed when in the Upstairs Areas of the Clubhouse.
- Tailored Shorts may be worn in the Clubhouse during the months of May to September.
We would appreciate your co-operation with these rules as non-complying persons will be asked to leave and refusal can offend.
If however, you are one of the many Gentlemen who wish to wear Collar and Tie then we are quite sure no one will complain.
Members/Visitors are requested to refrain from carrying any golf equipment or holdalls in or through the Lounge Areas of the Clubhouse.
ACCEPTABLE MODES OF CASUAL CLOTHING
Collared shirts, mock turtleneck shirts, polo neck shirts and sweaters.
Golf shirts must be tucked inside trousers at all times within the Clubhouse.
Proper golf shoes MUST be worn at all times during play.
The above rules do not apply to Junior Members or Visitors under the age of 14, although we would prefer if they could try and comply as much as possible.
UNACCEPTABLE MODES OF CASUAL CLOTHING ON GOLF COURSE
Denims, Track/shell suits, Cargo Style Shorts, T-Shirts, Leggings, Team colours and training shoes.
Trousers must not be tucked into socks unless designed for that purpose or unless when under waterproofs.
Caps must also be worn correctly.
PLAY
Visiting Parties should start at their allocated tee-times, progress without delay and ideally without causing hindrance to players behind.
Visiting players are invited to read the Local Rules, clearly printed on the Score Card, before play commences.
Any special Local Rules will be listed in the Professionals Shop.
