WINTER LEAGUE

‘Tis nearly the season to be jolly (aye right!) when those of us who are of limited intelligence and/or criminally insane, don our furry jumpers and wetsuits and partake of a game of winter golf every Sunday throughout the months of November to April (I know…we should know better !)

 

No doubt the usual suspects will appear but this year I thought it would be great to introduce new talent to the proceedings. So all you new members and those of you who’ve never played with us, why don’t you put your name on the entry sheet and enjoy a winter full of fun and chilblains ! If you can’t find a partner, don’t fret, we’ll find someone daft enough to play with you.

 

This year, as well as competing for the ‘Oh S**t’ trophy for the worst performers (the main prize) each Sunday outwith the nominated league days, an individual Stableford competition will be played and an accumulation of your three best scores through the period will be used to determine the Winter Singles Champ.

 

Entry’s only £20 for both competitions and covers your meal for Finals Day that will be a 60’s/70’s Fancy Dress Day…ON and OFF the course. (Last season’s similar day was a great success with more than £650 being raised for various charities. This year the proceeds will go to Childline Scotland, so dig deep boys !)
